The only nut festival of its kind in Australia !

Each year, it is when the leaves are turning astonishing autumn colours,

and when the mornings become a little bit more frosty,

that our local growers celebrate the nut harvesting time in the Victoria Alpine valleys.

For 2021, the Wandiligong Nut Festival committee

is working to deliver a Covid safe event.

With our everyday changing environment, we are advising you

to check regularly our website and social media for our latest information and news regarding this year festival.

Please, fee free to contact us by email at

if you have any questions regarding this year event.

It is in Wandiligong, nestled among heritage trees & gums near Morses Creek,

at the historic Alpine Park, that the Alpine community and the local growers

will welcome you to celebrate with them this important moment in Alpine life.

Just for one day, the park becomes a hive of nut-based activities

such as chestnut, hazelnut and walnut growers, nut-cracking tables,

chestnut roasting and nut-based cooking demonstrations.

The Wandiligong Nut Festival is a family friendly event.

Walking through gaily coloured market stalls, you will be able to discover

local art & craft stalls, local products (olive oil, pasta, preserves),

local food, local drink (coffee, beer, cider, gin and wine),

and local community groups.

During the day, you will find activities for everyone:

activities for children and teenagers,

cooking demonstrations by local chefs,

live music, and so much more.

So come to visit us and be a bit more nutty at the
